Northern Thailand's Lampang is one of the country's provinces. This ancient city is home to a number of religious institutions, including monasteries and temples, in addition to a well-preserved market.

Wat Phra That Lampang Luang

There is the largest pagoda in Lampang. The Naga staircase is the one that can be found leading up to the Mekong archway. The Royal Hall can be found just next to the Mekong Gate. In Lampang Province can be found a temple designed in the Lanna style. Relics of the Buddha can be found here at the temple. Relics of this kind are typically composed of the bones and ashes of the deceased King, which are thought to have been gathered following the latter's cremation.

Kad Kong Ta Street Market

A prominent weekend market in Lampang. Because of its location on Talad Kao street, which is closed to vehicles on weekends from 17:00 until 22:00, access to it is restricted. 

The market is a wonderful area to shop for locally produced goods, including food, mementos, and handicrafts. There are numerous stands offering a variety of foods, as well as stands selling a variety of handicrafts, apparel, and mementos. However, I ask that you remember to bargain as well.

Baan Sao Nak
Baan Sao Nak is a well-known tourist attraction in Lampang. It is a Lanna-style home made of teak wood and was constructed on pillars in the year 1895. It is a great place to learn about the traditional architecture and culture of the Lanna people and is located in an outstanding position.

Dhanabadee Ceramic Museum

In Lampang, there is a museum known as the Dhanabadee Ceramic Museum. This museum showcases the history of ceramics production in Lampang as well as the ceramics-making enterprise owned by the Dhanabadee family. 

The museum first opened its doors in 2012 and now houses more than a thousand ceramic pieces, which include a variety of bowls, plates, cups, and figurines. In addition, there is a workshop within the museum where guests can learn how to create ceramics. The Dhanabadee Ceramic Museum is a well-liked destination for vacationers in the city of Lampang.

Thai Elephant Conservation Center (TECC)

An establishment run by the government of Thailand, can be found in Lampang Province in the country of Thailand. It was founded in 1993 with the intention of lending a hand in the preservation and maintenance of Asian elephants. Home to more than fifty elephants at any given time is the Elephant Conservation and Care Center (TECC).

In addition to this, the TECC is in charge of the education of mahouts and offers a wide variety of programs and activities for visitors, such as elephant rides, elephant bathing, and elephant performances.
